One of the things that our sports medicine physiotherapists do is develop exercise ‘prescriptions’ or exercise guidelines for our patients. While almost anyone can safely exercise, some people may benefit from meeting with our professionals for an exercise consultation. The top two reasons to get exercise prescriptions include safety and efficiency.

What does treatment involve?

The heart of the prescription is a detailed plan that takes into consideration your current health status and your short and long term goals. To understand how an exercise program is designed, you need to first understand the princliples of sports conditioning. Our physiotherapists will aim to make the program safe, enjoyable and effective.
